First some of the not so fun news, then fun news.

I submitted a story to a magazine publication and got rejected— my first real rejection. Surprisingly, I wasn’t upset. I’ve known for a while that rejection is just part of this job; it isn’t personal; it doesn’t mean I’m a bad writer; it’s just the way of things. All told, I’m proud that I took it well and wasn’t hurt. Knowing I can handle rejection is empowering. Here’s to more rejections!

Now the fun part: On the Rebel Mouthed Books homepage, I provide a posting schedule for each month. February’s schedule is up now. On February 22, I’ll be posting a sneak peek at a brand new serial I’m writing!

Most of the content on this website is non-fiction, with the exception of my short cosmic horror story “The Rock Swallows Whole”. But this is a fictional serial, filled with adventures, funny characters, and acts of revolution. Stay tuned for more!
